The Philadelphia Workforce envisions a thriving and inclusive regional economy. To help us achieve this goal, the Philadelphia Workforce Investment Board has partnered with local organizations to create and support initiatives that can have the greatest impact on enhancing the local labor supply in key areas: improving employee basic skills (reading, writing, math), increasing the number of Philadelphians with college degrees, designing and delivering training in partnership with employers, and youth employment.
